How to Make Peanut Butter

Less than a week ago @GraCess_Dad bring home a special peanut butter and since then I cannot stop myself from making sandwiches! And oh, he also caught me eating it without any bread at all. Haha.

But, sadly, it has been four days since the peanut butter is with me. I guess another four to five spoon will totally erase its existence. Goodbye to my beloved peanut butter and thank you for spending the time with me and my tummy. I love you so much!

So, I realized that I love the taste of peanut butter these days. It relived my childhood days when I licked my fingers for peanut butter remains. That is why, I am going to make my own peanut butter. Yehey!

Come along and join me in this endeavor. It is a tough one. Haha.

First off, we are going to prepare the ingredients we need for 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter.

  • 2 cups peanuts
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • pinch of salt

Let’s take out our baking pan and pour 2 cups of peanuts. Place it in the oven and set to 350 degrees. Leave it for 8 minutes but be sure to shake the peanuts every 2 minutes to avoid burning them.

After, let’s take it out from the oven and allow the roasted peanuts to cool.

Prepare our blender that has a metal blade attached and then pour the roasted peanuts.

Before we start the blender, we have to pour 1 1/2 tablespoons of peanut oil. Actually, we can also use vegetable oil if there is no peanut oil available. Cover the blender and let it chop the peanuts up to 3 minutes.

At times we have to scrape down the peanuts to make sure that everything is perfectly chop. You can continue to blend the peanuts until your desired smoothness is achieve.

Taste the newly made peanut butter and add salt or sugar if needed. If you want to use honey for a sweeter taste, it is perfectly fine too.

Transfer the peanut butter to a sealed container and store it in our refrigerator. It allows the peanut butter to set into a perfect peanut butter paste after a day or two.

Enjoy your homemade peanut butter as much as I will!
